Ashley Lewis is the Managing Partner and Head of DPI’s Venture Capital Platform. Before joining DPI, Ashley was a Partner heading the Africa region with Accion Ventures, Accion’s early-stage fintech fund. Ashley has 20 years of experience across financial services, impact investments, and has dedicated her time to investing in and scaling ventures across sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. In addition to her time at Accion, Ashley was also an investment consultant and early-stage venture accelerator manager with LGT Venture Philanthropy in Thailand and Uganda. Ashley also brings experience from her time in the institutional asset management arms of Goldman Sachs and Vanguard.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from the HBCU Morgan State University and an MBA from HEC Paris. She is a Kauffman Fellow.
