Now with over 7,500 students across state-of-the-art campuses in Casablanca, Marrakech and Dakar, with plans to expand to other countries. KMR Holding Pédagogique owns and operates UPM, one of Morocco’s leading private universities having received the prestigious Reconnaissance accreditation by the Moroccan State.
Founded by Mohamed Kabbadj, UPM first opened its doors as Ecole Supérieure d’Informatique Appliquée a la Gestion (“ESIAG”) in 1987 in Marrakech, offering professional qualifications and degree programmes in business administration and information technology.
The UPM Marrakech campus provides undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programmes in seven major fields: management and governance, tourism and hospitality management, engineering and innovation, health sciences, sports management, arts and executive programs. UPM recently opened a business school in Casablanca, acquiring Université International de Casablanca, a premium-positioned private higher education institution, and expanded to Senegal through both the opening of UPM Senegal and the acquisition of a private medical school in Dakar. This medical school will be the first part of the UPM Health Sciences platform, which will offer degrees in pharmacy, medicine and dental health.
Beyond this, UPM has plans in place to grow its presence beyond Morocco and Senegal to offer students across the continent access to first class education.
