Meet Our Team
Ashley Lewis is Head of DPI’s Venture Capital Platform, bringing more than 18-years of experience across financial services, investments and social ventures.
Ashley has experience investing and scaling social ventures across Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Mohammed Aladdin is a General Partner of DPI Venture Capital. Prior to joining DPI, Mohammed was a Principal at Global Ventures where he led the firm’s activities in the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan.
Mohamed has more than a decade of experience working in start-ups and venture capital across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

General Partner
Charlie Watson is COO of DPI Venture Capital, and leads the DPI strategy team.
Charlie has more than 10-years of private equity and asset management experience. Prior to DPI, Charlie spent three years at Bridgepoint Advisers having started his career at JP Morgan Asset Management.
Omar El Kholy is a Fund Operations Associate on the DPI Venture Capital team and part of Nclude’s founding team, having joined in November 2021.
Prior to Nclude, Omar was an Investment Analyst at Global Ventures, where he played a key role in the North Africa and levant team.
Salma is an Investment Associate at DPI Venture Capital.
Prior to joining DPI, Salma was an Investment Analyst at Falak Startups and has both operational and investment experience, having previously been part of the founding team at a HealthTech start-up.
